About
What this blog is, and what it isn't.
What it is
The KissanAI Blog publishes source-grounded analysis on agricultural intelligence. It is the editorial channel for KissanAI, the team building AI agents, domain language models, and tools for agriculture — including Kissan Agent, Dhenu, and FieldFoundry.
- AI in agriculture — what's being built, what's working, what's hype.
- Applied ML and language models — domain training, evaluation, deployment.
- Crop, weather, and market analysis grounded in public data and primary sources.
- Government scheme explainers with eligibility, deadlines, and direct application links.
- Product notes from KissanAI, Dhenu, and FieldFoundry — how we build and what we learn.
What it isn't
- Not a replacement for a qualified agronomist, extension worker, or veterinary expert.
- Not financial advice, not a guarantee of yield, market price, or scheme approval.
- Not crawled-from-the-internet content — every claim is sourced and dated.
Editorial principles
- Cite, don't claim. Every non-trivial fact links to a primary or reliable secondary source.
- Date, don't generalize. Recommendations carry the date and region they apply to.
- Disclose limits. If a recommendation depends on local soil, weather, or seed variety, we say so.
- Update transparently. Articles carry both published and last updated dates.
For machines and AI agents
This site is built for both humans and AI search/answer engines. Every article ships:
- Schema.org JSON-LD (
Article,BreadcrumbList,FAQPagewhere applicable). - Canonical URLs, OG/Twitter cards, RSS and sitemap inclusion.
- A site-level llms.txt and llms-full.txt.
- An explicit robots.txt that allows ethical AI crawlers.
